🇦🇺 125 YEARS OF OUR AUSTRALIAN FLAG 🇦🇺

This Thursday, 3 September, marks the 125th anniversary of the Australian National Flag.

To commemorate this important milestone, Maitland City Council will be lighting the historic Morpeth Bridge in the colours of our national flag — blue, white and red.

The Australian flag was first flown on 3 September 1901, and for 125 years it has been a symbol of our great country.

Morpeth Bridge will be illuminated from sunset until 10:30pm on Thursday night.

The perfect way to remember the very best of men. Many of you will remember Hilton. He drove many people, brides, staff, friends in our white stretched limousine with absolute grace. Put out the red carpet, served the ch*****ne and even layed out the dress train for many brides! It was a pleasure to attend a celebration of his life yesterday at the little Mission hall at Abermain. This is where Hilton had attended his entire life and where he mentored those less fortunate in life. Thankyou Hilton. RIP
