These are from a few weeks ago, doodling, colouring and scribbling with music in my ears (so impressed with the earplugs dismissing all the noise so all I could hear was Crowded House). All I took with me that day was a black pen, a dozen colouring pencils and a book that has prompts of what to draw, some started, others blank.
Pic one - it said to add happy faces to the suns! While I wasn't in the mood for sunny faces, I really enjoyed drawing over the yellow preprinted circles and lines. I used a fine black pen and started with a daisy, then spirals, and the rest sort of evolved. By the time I'd filled in half of the circles, I'd decided I should have some part of the face. Circles are great for eyeballs!
Pic two - it wanted me to draw something that I love that makes me feel good...! π A jar of pencils also is good for lifting my mood! lol
Pic three - I wasn't going to include this! While the rest of this page is not my fave, the happy buzzy bee makes me smile! This page began as preprinted colourful wavy lines. I started off colouring using the same colour as each line, then added scribbles and patterns, then the bee scene, then turned the page with the coffee cup!
Reverse colouring, doodling, drawing coffee cups, colouring froth ... no matter the result (fabulous or crappy), they are perfect for crafting feel good moments!
The book I have is called '365 Days of Feel Good Art' by Lorna Scobie.
