Swipe 👈🏼 to see the powder room transformation at our Castle Cove Project.

Breathing new life into this space was one of the most impactful elements of the renovation, and the before photos show just how dramatic the transformation was. Our favourite feature? The stone benchtop, repurposed from the original kitchen and given a second life in this beautiful powder room.

Lighting is about so much more than just function, it plays a huge role in how a home feels.

In our latest Mosman project, we considered lighting early in the design process, carefully balancing feature moments with more subtle layers throughout the home.

From the entry lighting creating a sense of arrival, to the understated pendant over the kitchen island that doesn’t compete with the view, every selection was designed to shape the experience of the space.

It’s these quieter layers that help a home feel warm, inviting and thoughtfully resolved 🤍

BATHROOM DESIGN TIP: LAYOUT 🤍

When planning a bathroom, think carefully about what you see first when you walk into the space. Ideally, it’s a beautiful vanity, statement mirror or feature lighting, rather than the toilet. Positioning the toilet out of the direct sightline doesn’t just improve the aesthetics, it also helps the room feel calmer, more considered and more retreat-like.

When thinking about the layout, consider door swings, circulation and how the space feels as you move through it. These small planning decisions can have a big impact on how enjoyable your bathroom is to use for years to come.

The biggest transformation in this home came down to one key decision: moving the kitchen from the back of the house to the front.

Originally, the kitchen felt disconnected from both the living spaces and the incredible outlook. By relocating it, the kitchen now sits at the heart of the home, connecting naturally with the surrounding spaces while making the most of the view.

It was a major layout change, but one that completely transformed how the home feels to live in 🤍

Joinery is a powerful way to create connection throughout a home. One of the most common mistakes we see is treating each room in isolation. Instead, we consider how joinery elements such as cabinetry, bench seats and work-from-home nooks can work together to create a seamless flow from one space to the next.
