Things I wish more couples knew before booking their wedding florist…
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly curated Pinterest board.
You don’t need to know the names of every flower you want.
And you definitely don’t need to have every floral detail figured out.
That’s part of what you’re hiring a florist for.
My job isn’t just to take a list of flowers and put them into arrangements.
It’s to listen to what you’re drawn to, understand how you want your wedding to feel, work with the seasons and your surroundings and turn all those little pieces into something cohesive and create the most beautiful wedding flowers designed just for you.

When I ask my couples about their wedding flowers, I’m not just asking what colours they like.
I’m trying to understand them and the feeling they want to create for their day.

When my husband and I got married our focus was on creating a day that felt like us. We eloped on the wild, rugged coastline of Tasmania because we love it there.
Our daughter was deep in her Lion King era, so as I walked down the aisle,Can You Feel The Love Tonight filled the air and my husband cooked up an absolute feast in his suit and all because food is his love language.

Was it traditional? Not at all.

Does it sound like everyone’s dream wedding? No.

Was it us? Completely!

As a wedding florist I think it’s important when I work with my couples to truly understand the day they want to create.
I want you to see me as your flower translator.

Want to match your big bright life of the party personality I know the colour palette and flowers for that. You’re more intimate, love nature and the slower pace to life I’ve got you.

There isn’t a right or wrong choice to your wedding day.
Just the right flowers that express who you are.

That’s the kind of wedding I love creating.
