This is what happens when a space is designed with intention from the very beginning.

The previous business was a café and florist, so this transformation required more than just a cosmetic update.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The goal was to completely reshape the space to reflect the salon’s brand, energy, functionality, and overall client experience.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Every layer was considered - from the colour palette and materials through to the layout, lighting, and flow of the space. Because great interiors aren’t just about how a space looks… they’re about how it works and how it makes people feel when they walk in.
Now the salon feels cohesive, confident, full of personality, and truly aligned with the business behind it.
A perfect example of how the right design decisions can completely shift the feel of a space.

My first commercial project… and what a fun one it was.
A complete transformation for J.Beck Lab - a space that truly reflects Joe and his vision.

No beige. No natural tones. No playing it safe. 🦋

This salon is bold, confident, full of life and personality — designed to stand out while still feeling professional and considered.

Joe has over 20 years in the industry and came in with a clear vision. My role was to bring that to life through colour, layout, styling, and a bit of reassurance along the way.

This project is such a great example of what happens when a client backs their vision and we refine it together.
Now open in Newstead - if you’re after a beautiful salon experience, go and see Joe and his team.
