Some more images from our Beal Project! 💫

This time we are showcasing the lovely main bathroom, we kept the layout the same but completely redid every aspect. Our client did a beautiful job of choosing these lovely terrazzo look tiles and brass fittings. And that gorgeous bath just finishes the bathroom off!

We're thrilled to have visited one of our completed interior renovation projects in Mornington today!

The brief for this project was to refurbish the existing home in a modern coastal style, with a well considered and cost-effective design solution that incorporated timeless and durable finishes. We especially love the Steccawood half round panelling on the island, which creates a warm and textural entry to the kitchen.

We've captured the before and after here (swipe to the right) but also can't wait to share some more photos of the transformation 🙂

Our clients did an incredible job overseeing the project onsite 🙌

Excited to share a few 3D images of our new build project on the Mornington Peninsula, which is soon being submitted for Council planning approval. We have loved working with our clients so far, responding to their brief to create a home that provides privacy, peace, and a healthy, safe environment for their active family. Our clients have a shared interest in using low-tox finishes and construction techniques that maximise the thermal performance and indoor air quality of the home.

The u-shaped layout is designed to be future-proofed and functional, oriented to optimise the north-facing aspect of the site and allowing principal living spaces and the master suite to overlook the pool.

The residence draws on a modern barn form with subtle coastal references, including horizontal shiplap board and vertical batten cladding painted in Dulux Dune, aiming to maintain a strong relationship between interior and exterior areas. The overall approach integrates simplicity, comfort, and sustainable design principles.

We can’t wait to share more as we progress through the planning and construction phases of this exciting project!

Before and After 💫

Some more images from our recent site visit to our completed Bittern project showcasing the amazing “after” of the kitchen!

The client brief was to extend out the back of the home and incorporate a open kitchen / dining / lounge area. The outside features amazing black charred timber which we can’t wait to show more of.

We're excited to share some more design images of our extension project in Mount Martha, currently in the town planning approval stage. This project prioritises sustainability by making the most of the north-facing block and retaining the existing brick building, which will be upgraded with new high-performance insulation, double glazing, and a solar system for electric heating and cooling. The north facing extension will allow winter sunlight to enter the living and dining areas, while the balcony structure will provide shade during summer. The lower level will feature an exposed concrete slab to maintain thermal mass and provide warmth during winter. We'll share more of this exciting project in the coming months!

Sneak peak!

Here is a sneak peak of our latest project in Mount Martha, which is currently in the design phase.

The site has a sloping terrain that benefits from great north-south orientation.

We're keeping the existing brick building (which already has a good layout for passive solar design) and giving it a cosmetic upgrade to blend smoothly with a new pavilion-style extension. Energy efficiency of the existing building will be improved by adding new insulation, double glazing, and solar panels for a renewable energy source to power the new electric heating and cooling and a heat pump hot water system.

Our pavilion-style extension also makes the most of the north-facing site, with shading provided by the balcony during summer.

We can't wait to get it submitted for town planning approval!
