A quick personal post from Erin - today, The Petal Bloke and I made a day trip to Melbourne to see David’s Daughter, Matilda, graduate from her Navy training and move onto the next stage of life as a Sailor. It has been a BIG day. 2am start. Flights. 2 hour drive. And now a delayed flight home. 8pm and we are still waiting for our plane, and will drive back to Muswellbrook after that, and both go to work tomorrow (not a sympathy post, so so happy to have been there today). All this while Jel worked, performed miracles, and I desperately called in back up - to which Kim came to the rescue. School holidays are usually quiet for us, but this week has been different - so so grateful for the orders, and help we have received. Small business life is WILD. We work 7 days a week. I’ve learnt some hard and fast lessons, and have been supported by the best people. Especially on days like today - which allow us to not miss these huge milestones. Always grateful… we know this. It’s also Jel’s birthday tomorrow and she’s taking a well deserved day off! - keep an eye out for the Birthday Post…. Gah. All the feels today!! ♥️
