Yesterday we shared that something exciting is coming…

And tomorrow, we’ll finally get to tell you what it is.

But before we do, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself to everyone who’s joined us along the way.

My journey into design started back in 2013 when we built our very first home. What began as a passion quickly turned into something much bigger. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to build and renovate more than 30 homes alongside my builder husband, learning so much about design, construction, renovations and styling along the way.

In 2019, I started The Designers Project (formerly Design Love Create). It began as an interior design business working alongside the building company, and over the years has naturally grown into something I could never have imagined.

Today, The Designers Project is a full service Interior Design and Property Styling business, with a 400m² warehouse, two vans, and the most incredible team I’m so grateful to work alongside every day ❤️

And tomorrow…

I can’t wait to share what’s next 😁

There’s a lot that happens behind every beautifully styled home, and we’re looking for an absolute gun to lead that side of our business.

We’re searching for a Warehouse and Removals Team Leader to oversee our warehouse operations, staging logistics and lead our furniture removals team.

This is a hands on role that combines leadership, logistics and removalist work. You’ll coordinate furniture movements, manage installations and collections, maintain our warehouse, load and unload furniture, drive company vehicles, and ensure every project runs smoothly from start to finish.

If you enjoy leading a team just as much as rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in, this could be the perfect role for you.

THE ABSOLUTE GUN WE ARE SEEKING

- A confident leader
- Highly organised and proactive
- Physically fit and enjoys hands-on work
- Experience as a removalist, furniture installer or in warehouse logistics is highly regarded
- Comfortable lifting and moving furniture safely
- Calm under pressure
- Able to drive a team and improve processes
- Passionate about delivering exceptional results
- Holds a current full driver’s licence

THE ROLE

- Casual position, 2–5 days per week (depending on workload)
- Opportunity for increased hours as the business continues to grow
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
- South East Melbourne
- Lead furniture deliveries, installations and collections across Melbourne
- Organise and maintain our warehouse and inventory
- Coordinate daily logistics and vehicle loading
- Work alongside our styling team to ensure every installation runs seamlessly
