Emma has made a gorgeous version of the Betsy Rose Pouch (spoiler there is no Betsy in this version) using her favourite blacks including a stunning vintage fabric!

We have limited kits available that include all the same fabrics as Emma’s and the same components for the zipper charm including the yo-yo, charms, trims and vintage beads.

It is stunning and we cannot restock this colourway so if it speaks to you run don’t walk.

Note: this kit does not include the threads or zipper. Both are available seperately on our website. The pattern is also sold separately. We have kitted this way as we know so many people have enjoyed making multiple pouches and you may not need more threads!

I’ve spent some time pottering in my studio today (otherwise known as my room of one’s own). Things that caught my eye include:

1. A little peak at my new quilt design - coming soon!
2. A few vintage treasures that make my heart skip a beat.

There have been lots of requests for a Summertime Quilt Bundle lately - so here’s a gorgeous starter bundle for a gorgeous quilt! Great greens, juicy oranges and dusty blues and lots of low volume goodness.

I think people are always surprised that bundles firstly take quite a bit of time to cut and fold and secondly we don’t always have the ‘right’ fabrics for them. We love our bundles to be full of interesting and unique fabrics - just like my quilts. This can take some time to accumulate, especially if the colour palette is perfectly left of centre.

Ziggy Bagel did not enjoy me being preoccupied with writing the pattern for my newest quilt. He took every opportunity to try and distract me and / or sit on it. It’s coming soon though and I couldn’t be prouder of it!
