It’s hard to find a member of the fibre arts community who hasn’t been impacted by breast cancer, be it personally or through a family member or friend, with 1 in 7 women in Australia diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 🌸

I'm proud to support National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) through the Knit for the Girls Fundraiser. It’s only through continued investment in research that we can accelerate progress and save more lives.

Every year I donate to the prize pack draws run by Karina Karina Moore | Indie Yarn Dyer but I also run my own fundraiser to contribute to Knit For the Girls! 🌸

My collection this year includes a swatch square for the very first time!! 🧶⏹️📏🥳 It coordinates perfectly with the yarn cutter as well! 🥰

My collection is launching on 17th October and 20% is donated to Knit for the Girls for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)

omg I did a thing!!! 😱😱😱

My whacky little business has gone places I couldn't have ever predicted when I started this 5 years ago. And it's only been a couple of years since I built the studio in my backyard but it didn't take long for me to outgrow that little workshop space! 💪

So now I have a shiny new space right on Hunter st in Newcastle 🥳🥳

Right now I'm working hard on getting the new studio ready to move in, we've built some new furniture, had a picnic, and so far so good (I haven't cried yet but I'm sure it's coming! 😂)

Matt has already claimed the old studio as his WFH office lol.

I'm so excited to share this journey with you!!!

How do you love spending a public holiday day? 🧶☕️🥰

To be honest, I so rarely get a real day off... even today I spent most of the day doing BIIIGGGG behind-the-scenes biz stuff (watch this space 🤫) but now I get a few minutes to relax and do some stitching 💖

I'm working on my Succulent Garden Shawl and actually making some good progress! It's so rewarding to knit a pattern I designed myself! 🌵🌸

This luscious yarn is from Lisa Lisa Gray who collaborated with me to create the yarn kits, mine is in the Desert Blush colourway! 🥰 So stunning right?

I'm so thrilled and honoured to be a sponsor again for this year's Knit For the Girls fundraiser event! 💖🥰

Over the last 5 years, three Australian fibre arts community has united to raise $188,000 AUD for breast cancer research. National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)

This year, I've designed some gorgeous new goodies, exclusive to the fundraiser, plus I'm bringing back some favourites from previous year's event. 🌸💖

My theme this year is "Stitched Together" which reflects the strength, love, and bonds in our beautiful yarn community 💖

🌸🌸I'll be launching my preorder on 17th October at 10am AEDT, with 20% being donated to the fundraising event. More info to come!🌸🌸

Wow what a day at Fibrefest yesterday! 😅 thanks so much everyone who turned out for a fun fibre filled day at Wyong yesterday!

It was so much fun seeing you all, meeting some new friends and catching up with old ones too. 🥰🥰 Sorry if I was a bit loopy, I was operating on about 3hrs of sleep and my brain felt like wet noodles the whole day 🤪🍜🧠 I hope it wasn't too obvious 😂

Special shout outs to my booth neighbours who were there with smiles, a laugh and amazing support through all the fun and dramas! (Should I mention the hysterical stall setup misshap and also the terrifying Square outage that occurred in the middle of the day! 🤪 Cass | Skip Rope Yarn Co Australian Dyer | Katrina 😎⚓️

I made up a batch of yarn buckets this week to bring with me to Fibrefest on Sunday, and just finished them this morning! Hooray! 🥳

Lots of goodies are coming with me to Fibrefest on Sunday! 😍

People love my tools and accessories because they add so much joy to their yarn craft! I hear lovely stories from people so often about their favourite stitch markers I made, a tool of mine that they can't live without, or something I made that just makes them giggle 🤭🥰

These are my original design, printed in gorgeous gradients and I also have a few new colours that aren't pictured here because I haven't had time to photograph them yet! 🫠 Oops!
