3, 2, 1 We have lift off!! 🚀🌌 Revealing the May instalment of my Mystery Space Club! The theme for May was "Space Mission", apt as we were all looking up at the Artemis 2 mission at the same time!

The goodies in May included a rocket launcher needle threader, rocket needle keeper, space buttons and a pack of spacey finished object labels! What a jam packed box you all got last month!! 😎🫶🏼

Special treats were themed for a bougie trip into space! A packet of absolutely delicious custom made freeze dried sorbet, from my local business friends Lynch's Hub and a sneaky little alcohol-free mocktail from SMUG Alcohol Free Cocktails thanks so much to these awesome local Aussie businesses! 💖

Have the space themes each month been surprising you? Got to keep you all guessing! One more month to go and the boxes have headed out the door today! 🥳 What do you think June's theme will be?

What an absolutely lovely time at my World Wide Knit in Public Day gathering today! 🥰🥰

My Newy Yarn Crafters group met up for knitting, crochet and even some macrame today at Warners Bay on the edge of Lake Macquarie. We were expecting chilly temps but actually the sun was shining hard and it was just glorious to be out knitting with such a lovely group today! 💖🧶 🔆😎

We had lots of new members joining us which is just so exciting to me! 💖

Can't wait for our next meetup!

Bit by bit, step by step, my floof is becoming yarn! 🌀🧶

I've really needed this crafting side quest. It's been a necessary mindless diversion.

Behind the scenes at Windmills HQ has been quite challenging this week. From laser machine dramas and studio issues through a full spectrum of an emotional rollercoaster, to the capstone moment where Poppy did a runner on me! 😭 I panicked HARD but eventually found her scrambling in the bush behind our place, not exactly a safe environment for a bougie little lapdog! Not ashamed to admit I cried when I couldn't find her, then cried again when I finally found her. 😭😭😭
We spent the afternoon snuggling and she even got to eat rice off my chopsticks after dinner (spoiled baby for sure!)

So I'm nearly finished this spinning project, and then I'll have even more yarn! 😂

Do you think projects get imbued with the emotions you're feeling when you create them?

World Wide Knit in Public day is coming up and my yarn crafters group is having a little get together! 🥳

If you are located in the Newcastle, Lake Mac or Hunter region, and would love to join a fun and inclusive social knitting group, WWKIP day is the perfect opportunity to make some new friends and add a few stitches! And of course our crochet friends are welcome too! 🧶💖

We're meeting at a location in Warner's Bay on Saturday 13th June so if you'd like to join us, please check out my Facebook group "Newy Yarn Crafters" for the details.

Just keeping the place and time off public socials for the group's safety 👍🥰

We usually meet monthly on weeknights, but this is too good of an opportunity to have an extra get together this month!

High Fibre lunchtime 🥰😂
I'm trying to squeeze in some time for more personal crafts since I don't seem to get very much time for that, like ever 😭

So even though my daytime hours are short before I need to go do school pickup, I'm trying to fit 20mins of spinning in when I take my lunch break. Or 20mins of knitting, or crochet, or weaving.

It's day 1 and I'm hoping this will bear regular thing and not like a gym membership I pay for but never use 😂

My Succulent Garden Yarn Cutter is launching soon for Sock Week hosted by 🌸🌵 I'm so thrilled to be selected as a collaborator this year!

This gorgeous design is as adorable as it is practical! It features a hidden blade for cutting all kinds of yarn and is a perfect addition to your project bag! The succulents are all individually cut and hand painted, then assembled by hand in a delightful layered design! 🥰💖🌸🌵
