We are always happy to offer help and advice to our customers. Our main suppliers of pugged clay, slip, underglazes and glazes are Walkers, Keanes and Clayworks. We have many different types of clay in stock at a

ny one time so there is bound to be something to suit your needs. We have a great range of tools, stains, oxides, surface decoration applications and raw materials. We also offer a firing service from bisc to SW. We run many workshops and courses throughout the year - please see our website for details. We offer a wheel repair service too.

Are you using stains wrong?
How to test stains and start using them for more colour in your work! These tests are done using 7% stain in slip, water and glaze. I will share the results and test my favourites in different amounts to get the colour just right.
I can’t wait to see the results of these colours! I’m always on the look out for new colours to sell in the shop and try myself🌈

If you have a kiln - you need to do this! Kiln cookies aren’t the most exciting thing you will make this year but they will save your kiln shelves and your sanity. Catching glaze drips and runs do you don’t have to grind shelves!

I’m using white raku paper clay which is great for this, these cookies should last me many firings!

HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS: we will be open our regular hours all this week🌈Saturday is our last day open this year then we will be shut for two weeks! Having a little break. Back on Tuesday the 6th January πŸ₯°

I have a couple more firings going on this week so if you are waiting on work it may be done by Saturday βœ… feel free to call and check if you are waiting on firing and haven’t heard anything- we have had a huge amount of work go through!

Meanwhile are available in the studio and will be ready for purchase online next year☺️
