We Won! A huge thank you to KNX Association for recognising our work at 435 Bourke Street Melbourne, in the Smart Building category. We delivered the KNX control solution across the base building and Commonwealth Bank fit-out, integrating lighting, automated blinds and building management for smarter, more energy-efficient performance. From the building’s pioneering solar skin façade to real-time system monitoring, it’s a great example of what integrated building technology can achieve.

By night, Rain takes on a life of its own. Inspired by the fleeting 24-hour life of the Rain Moth, this public artwork by Wills Projects in Norwood, South Australia, uses sculptural forms, LED lighting and backlighting to create a changing night-time presence that connects the street to the natural world.

We commissioned the lighting and controls, using Pharos Architectural Controls to schedule the lighting each night, with a rain sensor triggering a change in colour when rain is detected.

Behind the scenes at Little National Hotel Adelaide, where we connected the hotel’s guest room automation and lighting control across 237 rooms and public spaces. The Signify Multiroom Guest Room Management System (GRMS) and Dynalite lighting control work together to respond to occupancy and room status, coordinating services including lighting, blinds and fresh air/exhaust fans.

From everyday room operation to programmed lighting scenes, the system is designed to make the guest experience more seamless, while giving hotel operators greater visibility and control. Technology that works quietly in the background, supporting comfort, efficiency and energy management.

For Daffodil Day, Rialto Melbourne’s Piazza was lit yellow in support of the Cancer Council 💛 🌼Programmed by the Rialto team, the lighting is part of the building’s recently upgraded control system, including the Linit glass wall lighting, which can be controlled through our bluebottle Remote Management Service (BRMS).

A simple change that made a familiar space feel different for the occasion.

The Linit upgrade is the latest chapter in our work across Rialto, where we’ve delivered lighting control and integrated solutions over many years, including Signify Dynalite throughout the Main Lobby and Plaza Level, colour-changing lighting in the lifts, and Pharos Architectural Controls for the roof lighting.

A great example of how lighting control gives a building the flexibility to respond to the moment.

Melbourne turned pink last week for Dolly Parton. 💗 Two Melbourne landmarks we’ve helped bring to life, both Fed Square Fed Square and the Melbourne Star joined in, with their lighting quickly transformed for the occasion.

Powered by BRMS (bluebottle Remote Management Service), site teams can easily create and manage dynamic lighting displays themselves, giving venues the flexibility to respond quickly to events and celebrations.

A great example of how smart lighting control can bring much-loved places to life in an instant!

The Artrise Gallery at the Sunbury Community Arts & Cultural Precinct is a space designed to bring art, culture and community together.

For the gallery, we supplied Ljusdesign AB Arty Framer and Arty Zoom spotlights, selected for their precision and flexibility across changing exhibitions. With Casambi control, the lighting can be easily adjusted to suit different artworks and gallery layouts.
