NSW Battery Owners, this news update is for you!
The VPP rebate rules have changed and eligibility has been expanded to include more battery sizes. What does this mean for you? Well, it means you could have up to $1015 in a cash back rebate sitting there unclaimed.

If you've been hearing about changes to the NSW Virtual Power Plant (VPP) incentive but aren't sure what they mean, We've broken it down for you. The biggest updates include:

- Batteries up to 50kWh are now eligible to claim VPP connection rebates (previously 28kWh)
- Solar is no longer required to qualify for the rebate, meaning you can get a standalone battery and claim.
- The NSW VPP connection rebate can still be stacked with the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program rebate.
- Rebate payment terms have now changed from 60 days to 10 days!
- There are a few important eligibility changes worth knowing before you apply. You can view all of these on our website before you start the process.
