🐝 Meet the Maker … Sharyn
Tiny beads … a whole lot of patience and a passion that’s lasted decades! ❤️
Sharyn shares a little of her creative world …
“I’ve been creating since I was a teenager … mainly sewing, knitting and embroidery, but I’ve tried lots of other things along the way.
I discovered beads in the early ’90s and found my passion! I especially love seed beads … the smaller the better … and bead weaving.
Over the years, I’ve sold my creations at markets, galleries and exhibitions, and shared my craft through teaching locally and at major bead and gem shows.
Belonging to Craft Corner means I can hang out with other local creatives, make what I love and then release it into the world to be loved by someone else. There’s no pressure.
Currently, I’m obsessed with making little beaded bees from a pattern I found. They bring me great joy and are just so cute! 🐝
My workspace is usually chaotic, with several projects on the go at once … which can get pretty messy!”
From loose beads on a busy workbench to something lovely to wear … every little bee carries a little of Sharyn’s joy. 💕
