Hello. I’m Suz. Not sure if we’ve met so I thought I should introduce myself and say Hi 👋. I make cushions and quilts and bits and bobs when I’m not doing regular life with my family and friends. I’ve been a pharmacist for over 30 years but have always dabbled in fabric creations. So this is my little side hustle/hobby where I combine my creative flair, addiction to fabric, interior design and sustainability. Come along and say hello this Friday. Saturday and Sunday. Been a bit quiet on the gram but very busy with cushion orders behind the scenes.
I started this super cute quilting project just for a bit of fun but before I finish this colourful circus inspired baby snug rug I thought I’d reach out for any potential customers so I can personalise with a baby name before I quilt it all together. It’s got a gorgeous ‘merry-go-round’ printed cotton backing with a colourful checker board front, suitable for any gender. It measures 1.3m square. DM for details

Did you know I also make ‘fabric collage boards’ using wallpaper and fabric offcuts? I’ll have these ones on display and for sale at next weekends market along with lots of new cushions and quilts.

We open next Friday 9.30-5.30 and can’t wait to welcome you into the Wilkinson Gallery, through Gate 1 of the Claremont Showgrounds. Also open Saturday 9.30-5.30 and Sunday 10-1. Lots of goodies to eat and drink, clothes, jewellery, candles, art, homewares and more.

7 days to go til . It’s been a busy few weeks with lots of creating and sewing to have lovely new homewares on display and for sale. Here’s just a sample of new cushions that will be available in an assortment of sizes.
Lots of clever little artisans and suppliers sharing their wares so please come and visit next weekend.

Another custom quilt just completed for my client wanting me to up-cycle fabric from her old curtains. The floral linen was too dated for window furnishings but too beautiful to throw out. So using the fabric for the back, the binding and a few pieces in the front mixed with random pieces from discarded and discontinued fabric swatch books I’ve created a large queen sized quilt for her to keep forever more.

The owner of this stunning home in Minim Cove reached out wanting a cushion upgrade starting with the main sun filled lounge with glorious views out to the river. Previous cushions had faded due to all the natural light flooding in. The greens and golds in the artwork inspired the fabric choice. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to change up a space simply by changing out cushions. If you want a cushion overhaul but not sure where to start I can help. I’ll suggest, make and zhush your space until you are 100% happy.

It was a beautiful Spring day last Friday the sun was shining the atmosphere was electric. Thanks to for organising such a beautiful community event . Thanks to everyone who popped by for a chat and all my customers for their cushion purchases. See you all next year .
