Guys I’ve had to make the difficult decision to increase my prices slightly for the recycled PET toy stuffing and also to change the packaging so it is sadly no longer plastic free 😔. Postage costs were actually meaning I was losing money so it just wasn’t worth it. The great news is that my daughter, who is now 8, is taking on the responsibility of weighing and preparing the orders which she is absolutely thrilled about! Don’t worry - quality control is still in place 😅

It’s not a huge change but I do like to keep prices as low as I can, especially at times like these.

I’m back! It sure has been a long while since I’ve been here and I’m sorry for the radio silence but hopefully now with two kids in school you will see me here more often showing up and unravelling some gorgeous discarded sweaters for all you lovely people to reuse and relove. This is some absolutely lovely 100% wool coming at you from a preloved but perfect condition Sportscraft sweater. It’s double stranded so it’s going to take a while, but stick with me and hopefully she’ll get listed in a week or two. She needs a wash first to get all those kinks out. Game on!!

✨Christmas preparations are well underway in the Unwound headquarters. I will most likely have a shop sale in the new year so stay tuned for news on that! I’ve been so quiet on social media and I’m missing reading all your posts and seeing all the amazing work you guys do. I hate being so sporadic and not showing up more here, but life with kids and family commitments is definitely taking priority at this stage. I hope you are all taking care of yourselves and eachother at such a busy time of year.

This gorgeous eucalyptus green yarn has now sold! Is it weird to get attached to things you make to sell? This was one of those rare occasions for me…I was just so in love with the colour and the soft soft softness. I can only imagine the beautiful new life ahead for this yarn 😍
