Been home this week with the first cold of the season, a good excuse to get some knitting done.

The Boy’s new jumper is almost finished, it’s the Kids Favourite Flannel by Alicia Plummer. He chose my Kingfisher colour way for this one, my fave. I should have just enough yarn left over for a pair of mittens. We’re planning a camping trip next school holidays and it’s going to be COLD 🥶

Finally finished clue 3. The whole household has been an unwell for the last couple of weeks and when I did have some time I didn’t find myself reaching for knitting, on the plus side I read a lot of books! I did manage to push through and now I can’t wait to get stuck into the next section and finish up.

Also I think if you just stopped here it would make the most amazing scarf.

I’ve got brand spanking new yarn labels! This week I’ve been undertaking the Herculean task of replacing every single label on every single skein of yarn in the lead up to . Shout out to my little inkjet printer for doing its best for years, you’re a real one, but it was time for an upgrade.

Results from Tuesday’s dye session. Left skein is a merino/silk blend and right skein is a 100% merino single ply. These will be 2 of the new bases I’ll be introducing very soon.

Clue 2 done! I’m surprised I’m not further behind if I’m honest. This was only the second time I’ve attempted brioche and I can see I lot more of it in my future, very satisfying.

After 6 weeks of post surgery recovery, then school holidays, and then market prep, I’m finally back dyeing again! I’m working on some custom orders today but it would be criminal not to chuck something in the spare pans.
