Mother’s Day always brings a quiet moment of reflection for me.
Being a mum to three young adults is one of the greatest joys of my life. Watching them grow, while still sharing the small rituals of everyday life together, is something I feel incredibly grateful for.
I think so much of my love for home, beauty and creating meaningful spaces came from my own mother. She taught me that beauty lives in the little things ... the flowers on the table, a beautifully set home, candles glowing at the end of the day, and the simple rituals that make a house feel warm and loved. Her influence is woven into so much of Malmaison, and into the way I care for my family and home today.
I miss her deeply, and days like today remind me how much love stays with us, even after someone is gone. There are certain memories, traditions and little moments that continue to live on in the way we gather, care for others, and create our own family rituals.
I also know Mother’s Day can hold many emotions for many people. For those missing someone they love, navigating loss, longing for motherhood, or finding today difficult in any way, I’m thinking of you and sending love.
To all mothers and mother figures, thank you for all that you give so generously every day.
And to our beautiful Malmaison community, thank you for allowing us to be part of your homes and traditions 🤍
Happy Mother’s Day.
