We are a Commercial Flooring Company operating since 1968.

We require the services of a qualified Commercial Floor Installer / Floor Layer, who specialises in Commercial Vinyl. Available to commence work ASAP.

The successful candidate must be competent in the following areas:

Ability to lay commercial heavy duty vinyl sheet/Tiles/Planks.
Take up of existing flooring when required.
Coving.
Preparation of sub-floor.
Carry out repairs.
Have good clean work practices.
Have a keen eye for detailed finishes.
Meet deadlines to complete projects on time.
Must be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic to succeed in this demanding role.
Earning potential is only limited by your motivation to get the job done.
Terms & Conditions discussed in Interview.

We are based in Welshpool but complete work for all areas in Perth.

You will need to provide current contactable references.

Must be a Pty Ltd Company. Supply Trade Certificate, Driver's License,White card, Police Clearance, Flu Vaccination certificate etc.

Have Public Liability Insurance.

APPRENTICESHIP POSITION AVAILABLE

Commercial Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a Full-time Apprenticeship in the floor covering industry to join our company.

You must have a current Driver’s License–(Preferred) but not essential. To be able to pass a drug test, and be reliable.

You will need to have your own transport (Preferred) but not essential.
You will need to gain a white card, construction site equipment such as hardhat, long pants and shirt, safety glasses, steel-capped boots and gloves.

Listed below is what we will teach you during your apprenticeship including:.
• Duties comprise of consulting, and installation of specialist commercial floor coverings such as vinyl, carpets, lino, Flotex, planks, sheet & Tile etc.
• You will need to inspect and prepare the sub floor.
• To work from plans and/or follow verbal instructions from clients and other industry tradespeople.
• To measure, cut and fix underlay materials.
• To lay commercial materials over floor, match patterns, cut shapes around fixtures and trim edges.
• Be able to cove.
• To secure floor coverings and fit edge trims in doorways.
• Install wall sheet and capping.
• Installing Flotex.
• Be willing to learn modern techniques and work as a team member.

• Take up of existing flooring when required.
• Seam Seal carpet / Coving.
• Preparation of sub-floor.
• Carry out repairs.
• Have good work practices.
• Have a keen eye for detailed finishes.
• Meet deadlines to complete projects on time.
• Must be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic to succeed in this demanding role.
• Earning potential is only limited by your motivation to get the job done.
