Life is totally crazy over here, some kinda cold overtook me and Delilah this week whilst in the middle of packing up our house to move next week and scrambling to find accommodation.

Side note massive thank you to my Thermomix®️ community to helping 🙏 ❤️ you know who are!

But I just decided to have a little look at my numbers, this month with grand prix I had a massive target but truthfully life has been a lot. So I didn't set a target.

Soooooo in the 2 years I have been with Thermomix®️ I have supported 49 people get a Thermomix®️ on their bench, 49!!!

I am super proud of myself and would be so happy to finish this month supporting my 50th person get a Thermomix®️ on their bench!!

Today is one of those days a few weeks ago I would have given in and got a take away, I would have told myself a story of how I couldn't do it and why I needed to feed my kids a drive thru or pizza or something like that.

It had started happening a lot, a slippery slope I couldn't get off and everytime I was wracked with guilt and shame.

Even though I had my Thermie, even though I preached the ease and time saving I was stuck.

After a horrifically bad maccas a few weeks back I swore never again.

Today though I could caved though. I am feeling overwhelmed with all the changes in our life and the impact it has on the kids.

I had to take all 3 kids to the dentist which is 45 mins away on a good day and it was slap bang in the middle of the day so we risked danger naps too!

But today I was prepared, lunchboxes packed, dinner already semi prepped, I had pre cut the chicken when I had made the sweet and sour chicken the other night because I knew tonight was KFC night. The KFC seasoning already prepped and ready to go from last friday. I have chips in the freezer (the Coles ones are just potato's and oil) and I made quick flat breads, which are exactly that super quick, no proving time, make and bake!! (Well cook in a pan but you get my drift).

Anyway 25 days with out take out! Feeling pretty proud of myself and my bank balance well thats kinda loving me haha but thats another story!

I didn't realise how much it would mean to me to go more than 21 days without a take out, honestly I was heading for those golden arches a little too often.

I've never been a leftovers girl and I have a kind of weird relationship with food 😅

Buuuuuttttttt I have saved a lotta money and we are eating soooooo much better!!

The kids are trying things. And its just as quick for me to cook sweet and hour chicken with rice as it is for me to go to the golden arches!

And now I know how to make my own English muffins... easy!

Ok ok so I can't stop making these Swedish cinnamon buns and each time I've made them (all of 3 times) they are better.

I also made some English muffins to go with my take on the maccas sausage patty. Sausage and egg Mc muffins here we come!

Sweet and sour Chicken was yum but the kids weren't keen. But I told them, you don't like it, yet! 😉

What should I make tomorrow??

Not going to lie I am leaning towards a chunky bolognese with some kind of garlic bread.

Hello my gorgeous humans,

So I have been busy in all areas of my life recently, Thermie demos, catching up with friends, trying to organise the move and figure out what we will do if our new house isn't ready haha

I also had a fantastic hair cut today with (his salon in Melbourne is called Delilah!!! )

He made a funny comment when I flicked my hair up about me being a stripper in a previous life. Little did he know 😅 oh then I walked down the stairs and walked straight in to one I use to know 🤣🤣

You know what else I have been doing though??? Not having take out!

Here it is confession time, I had fallen in to a whole of buying the kids Maccas, I know, I know, I have a thermie I why am I doing that, but you know what, life is a lot at time and solo parenting along with all the rest it gets boring cooking a meal no one else wants to eat.

So 21 days ago exactly I ordered maccas delivery and it was cold,soggy and disgusting 🫣 I swore there and then to my kids I would not be buying maccas ever again... and for 21 days I haven't.

21 days may not seem like long to you, but when you fall in to that hole of ordering take out or getting a drive through coming out of it is long.

But here I am totally enjoying all my home cooked dinners and the money I am saving! Kaching!

Now I am looking for 3 people that have no idea at all what a Thermie is.... is that you? I don't want to sell to you, I just want to show it to you, are you keen??

Here is a follow up article to ‘7 Days With A Thermomix: The Verdict Is In.’

I wanted to give an honest, non-gifted, unbiased review.

I wanted to write how to afford one, for those who are wanting to buy but put off by the big price.

Thermomix has really been a game changer for our family. I tell everyone about it and they often say I should be a consultant.

As much as I’d like the extra income of being a consultant or partnering with , I want to be a trustworthy source of information. When an item is given for free or have an affiliate link or sponsored, it can be hard to know if the item is actually good or just a way for that influencer to make money.

I don’t want to do that. We paid full price for the Thermo and our cutter. I hope that if you are thinking of buying one, articles and points of view like mine can be trusted. 🤗

I do wish we’d bought it earlier. Hindsight is a beautifully infuriating thing.
