t changes a project from ordinary to something special. Okay, there are also those (many) times when the recycling bin is overflowing too, but who’s counting? Crafting is my escape, my way of relaxing after working hard or running around after my family. Over the years I have done sewing and needlework, painted jars and beads but nothing thrills me more than paper. I work part time in a library (yes I love books too - real paper books that is!) and have always used craft to express myself. I get a buzz from seeing (or hearing about) the pleasure someone else got when they received something I have made. I have a lovely friend who coined my nickname many years ago. When I decided to dive into having an online shop and needed a name .. well it just couldn't be anything else. In the small hours of the morning or when the creative juices are flowing, my craft room (otherwise known as a partitioned corner of the living room) looks like someone went mad with the confetti. Please don’t ask me to tidy up – I’ll never find anything again!

After many sales, a lovely US customer expressed her disappointment about the lines printed around my digital sentiments. Having the lines helps those who struggle to cut straight without guidance or don't have trimmers. Obviously there are times when you don't want borders or straight-edged shapes. I have added a page of the same sentiments without the lines.

We had a smaller group for the January card party but still managed some great looking cards. Here's just a sampling. We're back to the Inspirations Craft Group next week but will be back with some more Anniebello workshops in the next holiday break.
