When you walk into a room, where does your eye go first?

A well-considered space usually has one clear visual anchor. It might be a view, a piece of artwork, a fireplace, custom joinery or a beautiful piece of furniture.

The remaining elements can still add interest, but they should support that focal point rather than compete with it.
