A busy day as usual getting more stock out at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra.
We have topped up the glass miniature animal cabinets (still 2 boxes to sort).
A 1930-40's red fox mantle with head, legs with paws & nails & full fluffy tail is now available. One more for the taxidermy enthusiasts than the fashionista.
A light brown/beige mink collar wrap in fabulous condition is waiting for adornment on that special coat you have been waiting to jazz up.
We get lots of requests for the elusive longer length neck chains, they seem harder to source. We have a nice selection of silver ones that has just gone out, 55- 80cm long.
Several are bespoke/hand made mid century designs, so once they are gone they are gone. Including anchor link, wheat strand, double herringbone link, chunky Figaro link, single & double belcher/rolo links, twisted strand serpentine link etc. There are several standard 45-50cm length chains also available, starting from $40.
Bring in your pendant so you know the chain fits through the bale or pair your selection up with one of the several silver pendants we have available.
Of special mention is a 1950-60's 71cm Mexican Silver Etruscan/maille Roman loop chain & a 1940-50's 76cm Euro 800 silver concentric interlinked chain. Both stunning.
The show stopper is a bespoke 112cm long multi concept necklace incorporating both belcher & barleycorn chain with delicately faceted translucent light brown smokey quartz beads on wire with silver orb spacers. A large Celtic cross is suspended from chunky cables. There are 3 silver skulls interspersed within the design & a bone carved skull suspended from a cabochon claw caged amethyst. Its an imaginative, innovative & eye catching piece.
The costume jewellery continues to sell well & the brooches are very popular. I've topped up the displays.
Gold jewellery is still available but kept secured off site. We have a catalogue of available stock you can choose from then a closer inspection can be arranged by appointment.

More treasures are available at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra including an oak demi-lune occasional table with brass claw feet, an antique decorative brass floor lamp, the shade is sold separately so you can mix & match your own style.
A set of heavy quality stemmed crystal ch*****ne coupes, a mid century woven cane planter, various art glass pieces including paper weights. The brass miniature cabinet has been restocked.
We are open 7 days a week 10-5.

We are excited at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra to have un-boxed our recent purchase of blue & clear opalescent antique glass. Several different makers; Davidson, Northwood, Dugan, Fenton etc.
The Welsh dresser is not for sale. We can always hunt you one down.

Firstly a big shout out to all the new people that came through Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra this week & our ongoing regular customers. We had a very good week & and extra busy weekend. Lots of positive feedback about the stock & curating.
It amuses me when I hear some folk say amongst themselves "they've moved things around". Let me tell you its not for fun or because we get bored, or to make the existing stock look different. Its because stock has sold & stuff gets restocked & shuffled around to fit it all in. Its 815pm, I'm still here .....
More stock was unpacked today and 3 big buys still to sort through & get out this week if we can.

More stock has been arriving every few days at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra. We work back late most days to get stock out, there is always something different to discover.
Robert has finished refurbishing a couple of wooden pieces. A fabulous oak 1930/40's 2 tier square shaped occasional table that would be great as a planter or lamp stand. A mid centre bow front mirror backed small sized china cabinet on cute cabriole style legs with hand painted details on the glass (front & back). Key locked. Another vintage extra chunky/sturdy cane basket that is strong enough for fire wood, laundry or storage. They don't make them like this anymore.
More scarves/hats/coats/jackets are out.
Thanks to George more art glass is on the shelves & the uranium glass cabinet is full.

We get excited at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra when stock comes back from refurbishing. Thanks Greg for a great job with re-wiring & safety checks (tagged as well) on the lamps we now have on offer:

Blue Moon Collectables & Antiques is located at 1/5742 South West Highway Pinjarra WA. We are a bricks and mortar business, open 7 days a week 10-5; available on 9524 6612 during business hours.
This week we have a nice collection of linen, boxes/crates, trios, Depression era glass & uranium glass, studio art glass, crystal, vintage dolls, curios & so much more.
We don't have an on-line store, old fashioned browsing is what it`s about so drop in for a look and a chat.
