I got to enjoy a FIRST today.......

At the top of Sulphur Mountain, in Banff, Michael and I experienced snow for the very first time.

We might look tired, and for good reason as we had completed a 3.5hr horse ride in the rain just a few hours prior to this experience.

This vacation has been an adventure and is teaching me many lessons, those which I'll share towards the end.

Last night we arrived at our accommodation in Revelstoke and it was WAY more awesome than anticipated.

But the icing on the cake for me was this incredibly sweet note left in the room from guest services.

Even to this day you cannot go past a hand written letter, it just feels so much more personal than a corporate printed card, or an electronic thank you.

We made it to Michael's Uncles home, in Kelowna, where we have been loved upon so well.

Kelowna is so beautiful, what an incredible place to live. It's no wonder Uncle Brian moved from Perth in Western Australia to live in Canada.

Our dinner last night was a most delightful home cooked meal and my long-time FB pen-pal Tarie drove up to join us which was very, very special.
