When I decided to get family photos taken, I knew I wanted our outfits to complement the interior of our home so I could display the photos and have everything flow cohesively 🤭
My home has a natural palette with earthy tones like rust, terracotta and blush, so we chose colours that would sit beautifully within those spaces.
A little tip if you’re planning family photos for your home… think about where you’ll display them beforehand.
Coordinating clothing with your home’s colour palette can help the photos feel like part of the space, rather than something added later.

The artwork in your home truly needs to speak to your soul.
You must feel something when you look at it.
I would rather see a piece of artwork that doesn’t ‘match’ the space but you absolutely love it, than a home with generic artworks that are there to just look good with no intention or admiration.
A designer can help you tick both those boxes though😉
