Not exactly the Monday we had planned, but it was the Monday we were dealt.
The hot water system blew sometime since Saturday lunch time and we had a bit of flooding of the back area of our showroom, kitchen, toilets, store room and into our warehouse.
From the mouth of our apprentice (who is our son) at 6.15 this morning, “ummm dad, is there supposed to be water down here?” 😬
A huge thanks to our team and our installers who jumped in to give us a hand, and Brad and his team from Gows Big Red Carpet Cleaning for coming straight out to extract the water and set up fans, and to Rhett’s team at Hot Water Maintenance Port Macquarie & Surrounding Areas for coming and assessing the situation and getting us sorted! We can’t thank you enough!
We did temporarily close for the day, but we will be back open tomorrow, just with the back area taped off!
Thank you to the few customers we had come to the door today for their understanding.
A little bit of clean up to do over the next few days, but the silver lining is that is wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
