Through June I was honoured to work together with the Ruby Tuesday Foundation to deliver terrarium workshops to over 300 kids at schools across Adelaide. The Ruby Tuesday Foundation works to ensure no kids miss out on opportunities through disadvantage. Seeing the kids’ faces as they made their little gardens was priceless, they were so proud of themselves! I was also genuinely touched at just how many of the kids set out to make their terrariums for someone else - mum, dad, grandma…. Truly embodying the spirit of Ruby’s kindness.

Happy Sunday! It’s a leisurely long weekend and it’s so wonderful to see so many people exploring the Port Noarlunga village. We’re open today but closed as usual on Monday. The village is buzzing, with the best little boutiques, coffee, food and community.
Today my husband Adrian is in store while I store up energy for all the primary school workshops happening next week. Be kind, he’s not as talkative as me but he’s pretty funny ☺️

I do love to tell a rambly story so buckle up! Today warmed the cockles of my heart and reminded me of how important community and kindness are.
To be clear that gift voucher is not for me but for my lovely customer (you know who you are, it’s waiting for you next time you pop in x).

A leisurely virtual stroll through the terrarium shelves this morning at Botanista. If you think mum might need a little calm in her life perhaps a terrarium is the answer? We’re open 10-4 today and tomorrow (Saturday) and we’ll be open Sunday 11-3 if you need to pick something up on the way to lunch.
