So sad to see our music guru Gerry Barret leave for different pastures!
For the record:-
In South Australia, Gerry Barrett was a prominent figure from the Adelaide local music scene during the 1980s.

He is best known for his involvement in several notable Adelaide bands:

• Exploding White Mice: He was the original guitarist for this influential Adelaide punk-pop band when they formed in 1983. He played their earliest gigs, including their first live show at the Exeter Hotel on Rundle Street, before leaving the group near the end of 1984.

• Del Webb Explosion: Active from 1981 to 1983, this brass-based pop/soul band was named by Barrett after the American real estate developer Delbert Eugene Webb.

• Other Projects: Over the years, he has continued to perform in the local Adelaide live music circuit with bands such as The Bad Trips and The Idea of Light.
