Walk past our window at 109A Macleay Street, Potts Point today and you will see a special collectable “Andy Warhol / Marilyn Monroe” print set, with the original folding brochure, published by the Andy Warhol Foundation. Each of the 9 prints displays a unique color combination, to create this vibrant collection. This is a limited edition from the Luminaries Library (Corbis) in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, from 2009. The prints are high quality on a cardboard weight paper and come in the original 19 x 19 cm box. A must-have for pop art and Marilyn Monroe enthusiasts. In very good condition. So nice to meet Auckland Singer Tess, from the Band “Princess Chelsea” who are playing tonight (Thursday) at the Landsdowne Hotel, as part of their current Australian Tour!

Featured are some of the interesting treasures at Shop 109A Macleay Street, Potts Point including “The Apothecary” which is a two-handled “Loving cup” made by Royal Doulton in 1934. Hand-painted, in relief. showing an Elizabethan Apothecary with a customer buying a potion. Created by Charles John Noke and Harry Fenton and part of a strict limited edition of 600 pieces.

Have you seen this superb, Antique Chinese Rosewood Armchair in the Caravanserai window at 109A Macleay Street, Potts Point??
Generous in size. Hand carved Rosewood, with a feature panel of Chinese Vases. This Chinese Throne chair features a shaped top rail, decorated with scrolling; and the arms with supports featuring the carved Vase design which compliments the back panel. This fabulous Armchair will add a touch of elegance to any office, foyer, living room or bedroom.

In the 20th century, artists and publishers collaborated to recreate famous woodblock prints for interested Japanese collectors and Westerners looking for rare designs. New blocks were created and the prints were painstakingly printed by artisan printers using the same method as the 19th century originals, with blocks carved and printed by hand. These 5 vintage prints from the collection by Hiroshige Uttagawa, represent a section of the series “53 Stations of the Tokaido” in the window at 109A Macleay Street, Potts Point!
