Naoi’s ceramics are distinguished by their understated palette and delicate silhouettes. Subtle variations in form, traces of the wheel and hand, and the movement of glaze across the surface preserve the individuality of each piece. Rather than pursuing absolute uniformity, she embraces the gentle irregularities inherent in handmade objects.

At the heart of Naoi’s practice is a belief in ceramics as objects that become part of everyday life. She seeks to create vessels that are comfortable to use, beautiful to live with, and capable of acquiring meaning through repeated use over time. Her work invites a slower, more attentive relationship with food, objects, and the rituals of daily life.
