Kate Barrett was truly a remarkable woman. Intelligent, strong, courageous, and unapologetically true to herself.

She was a woman who stood firmly for what she believed in, never afraid to speak her mind, challenge the status quo, or stand up for what was right. Her strength was not simply in her words, but in her conviction, her courage, and her unwavering determination to make a difference in this world.

Her legacy is not only in what she stood for, but in the example she leaves behind. Inspiring women like myself to use our voice, stand in our truth, and never underestimate the power of one woman who dares to make a difference.

It was such a privilege to have known you. When I was first elected to Council, you were an ally, a mentor, and someone I could learn so much from. I feel so fortunate for the time we spent together and the memories we created. I will hold them close to my heart.

Thank you for your friendship, your guidance, and for being someone who stood firmly for what you believed in. You have left a lasting impression on my life, and you will always be remembered with so much love, respect and gratitude.

Vale Kate 🕊️
