Behind every strong project is a stronger person.

I sat down with Emma B. , General Manager at Builder Brokers, who had just stepped into her leadership role following a connection made at one of our Blueprint Social events.

Her story is one of quiet resilience and clarity of purpose. From navigating challenges to finding her place in property and construction, Emma shares the lessons that shaped her approach to leadership and the importance of trust, connection and choosing the right people to build alongside.

A study in balance starts with the surfaces we interact with every day.
In this space, blush-toned tiles introduce warmth and softness, setting a calm and inviting tone. Their gentle colour balances the cooler metals and mirrors around them, grounding the composition without overpowering it.
Texture plays an equally important role. The subtle matte finish catches light softly, adding depth and interest without distraction. Tiles are never just a backdrop. When chosen with care, they become one of the most powerful tools in shaping the atmosphere of a space.

For this full-house renovation, the goal was to enhance functionality while creating a cohesive and timeless design.

We reimagined the kitchen and master suite to improve flow and maximize storage, while updating finishes and layouts throughout the entire home.

It was a collaborative process from start to finish and we’re so grateful to have worked with such thoughtful clients who trusted our vision.

Featuring: The Tangerine Project

On Brisbane’s northside, a tired tenancy was quietly waiting for its next chapter.
Now, it’s a layered, light-filled space that reflects not only a brand, but the values of the family business that calls it home.

The brief was clear:
- A welcoming space for the team to enjoy
- Somewhere to host weekly tool talks and occasional client meetings
- A fitout that mirrored their vibrant orange branding, with warmth and professionalism

What followed was a true design collaboration, from the first test fit through to handover and the result is something we’re really proud of.

- Thoughtful zoning across two levels
- Custom joinery in bold tangerine with playful terrazzo and brass detailing
- Integrated lockers, sit-to-stand workpoints and a breakout space that feels like home
- A lighting strategy that balances softness with structure

It’s one of those projects that reminds us why we love what we do.
When design is intentional, inclusive and well-executed, it doesn’t just look good, it helps people work better and feel more at home.
