Grant’s words, not ours: the best clear-view door screen out there.
A single Infinity Zipline retractable screening the glass sliding door on this second-storey balcony, finished in Monument to blend straight into the dark door frames. Standard Patio Mesh keeps the outlook crystal clear and the breeze flowing while the bugs stay outside.

This pleated screen is literally falling apart at the seams. Don’t be cheated by pleated!
Pleated mesh isn’t UV-stable, so after only a few years in the sun, it's tearing apart, and this homeowner isn't able to use them anymore. Because pleated mesh isn’t sealed into the tracks, pets can get out, and bugs can get in. This is why we replace pleated screens like these two every day.

The new Freedom Zipline is colour-matched to the home and fitted with our stronger Pet Mesh. It's physically zipped into the track so pets stay inside and bugs stay out, and it's covered by a 5-year impact warranty. More light, clearer views, and easier to use.

13 years later & working like new. These Freedom screens went in back in January 2013: 4 Zipline doors and 4 motorised window screens. After more than a decade of kids, pets and tennis court sand through the tracks, all they needed was a track clean and some silicone spray to look and glide like day one. However, this homeowner also wanted the mesh to look brand new, so they requested new mesh as well, which is quick and easy to replace. Freedom Screens are built to be serviced, not replaced.

Built for spring and summer entertaining. Freedom retractable screens let the breeze, and people, flow easily inside and outside, while the insects stay where they belong.

Low profile and ready for paws, claws & accidental impacts. These French doors feature our ZLX retractable screen with a slim 60mm housing and 13mm low-profile track, so there’s barely an edge underfoot, and the whole system blends straight into the doors. It’s fitted with Pet Mesh, three times stronger than standard patio mesh and backed by an extra 5-year accidental impact warranty, so if any damage does happen to the screen, we'll cover it under warranty.

This apartment install came with the usual extra considerations of requiring body corporate approvals and needing balcony tiles lifted, cut and refitted so the screen tracks sit flush to the balcony. From the first phone call through measurement, quote and installation, none of it was a problem for our professional installers.
We're proud that so many 5-star customer reviews mention not just the product, but our expert local team!

The best upgrade to this city apartment? Fresh air flowing through the home. The master bedroom balcony door now has a Freedom Zipline screen in Dulux Anotec Silver Grey, keeping the insects out while the night air drifts in. The track is recessed flush into the timber floor, so the doorway stays seamless and the screen glides out of sight by day.

A Freedom Zipline retractable screen for a 2.6m tall aluminium hinged balcony door, colour-matched in Dulux Anotec Silver Grey to blend straight into the existing frame. The bottom track is recessed into the timber floor to sit flush with the finished floor height, so there's no raised edge underfoot and no tripping hazard on the way out to the balcony. Fitted with our standard Patio Mesh to keep the views clear and the breeze moving, and the whole screen retracts neatly out of sight when it's not in use.

Every screen is custom-made to fit your opening and your situation. This homeowner needed our specially engineered Pet Mesh as a solution for their high-traffic back deck and to withstand their cat's claws. Our screens are all Australian-made and installed by our expert team all across Victoria & South Australia.

We're proud that so many customers mention not just the product, but the people behind the Freedom Screens team.
