Little sailing boats. A friend gave me a couple of textured sheets of paper, and I thought I'd try something off the cuff ... Today I've had much fun experimenting with combining cyanotype and gel prints and adding a little bit of collage. I've stayed away from gel plates previously because I don't use any animal products in my studio. Then someone had the kindness to advise me that I can use a silicon plate instead. Here are some of my early results!

NEW! SUNPRINT TO STORY: CYANOTYPE AS COLLAGE

Join local mixed media artist Sue Bradshaw for a hands-on workshop making cyanotype sunprints and collage. You’ll unite light, objects and paper to create a visual story.
Open to all skill levels, this workshop invites you to bring small objects and images to weave into your story. If you are not sure where to begin, Sue will offer inspiration, guidance, and a range of examples to spark ideas.
By day’s end, each student will leave with a finished sunprint story of their own.
