White Tea & Ginger

Another of our Signature Collection soaps getting ready for launch!

White Tea & Ginger is such a beautiful, delicate fragrance, fresh bergamot and lime blend with soft florals, while warm ginger, nutmeg and musk sit underneath.

Fresh, clean and softly floral with just a little warmth.

The labelled bars are from our first batch cured, wrapped and ready to come along to our October launch, while batch number two has just been cut and is heading off on its 8-week vacation on the curing rack.

Soft pink, creamy white and a gentle sage green swirl through each bar, with touches of gold to finish them off. And because every bar is poured, swirled and cut by hand, no two ever turn out exactly the same.

Natural Oat Milk & Honey, from cure to cut

Another one of our Signature soaps getting ready for launch!

The labelled bars are from our first batch of Natural Oat Milk & Honey cured, wrapped and ready to come along to our October launch.

And beside them is batch number two, freshly cut and about to head off on its 8-week vacation while it cures.

Natural Oat Milk & Honey has no added fragrance, but that doesn't mean it has no scent at all. The oat milk and honey give the finished soap its own very subtle, slightly sweet natural aroma. It's soft and simple exactly what I wanted this bar to be.

I've also made one little change for our second batch. This time I've used colloidal oatmeal, which disperses through the soap rather than leaving the little visible oat flecks you can see in our original bars.

And have a look at that last photo!

The golden bar is freshly cut, while the lighter bar has been curing. Cold process soap changes so much over those weeks not only becoming harder as it loses water, but changing in appearance too.

I absolutely love getting to show you these little behind-the-scenes parts of making our soaps rather than only showing you the finished bar.

Next up… Avocado & Mint

Another one from our Signature range getting ready for launch!

The finished bars are cured, labelled and ready to go, while our newest batch has just been cut and is heading off for its 8-week vacation before it joins them.

I absolutely love seeing how a soap goes from a freshly cut bar to the finished product, so I thought I’d keep sharing a little bit of the process with you as we introduce the soaps that will be available at launch.

Avocado & Mint is soft green with delicate gold lines running through the bar and a little touch of gold across the top.

Slowly but surely, the soap shelves are filling up!

From fresh cut to market ready

A little behind the scenes look at our Blue Sage & Sea Salt Signature soap.

The first photo is one of the batches that will be cured, labelled and ready to go for launch day.

The second photo? That batch was made just 24 hours ago and has only just been cut!

Cutting the loaf has quickly become one of my favourite parts of soap making. You have an idea of what you've created... but you don't really know what is hiding inside until that first cut.
And LOOK at those swirls and that gold

These fresh bars now have an 8-week vacation on the curing rack ahead of them before they'll be ready to join the others.

Cold process soap definitely isn't a quick process, but watching each batch go from oils in a pot to a finished bar makes the waiting worth it.

Remember this little sneak peek?

A few weeks ago I shared our brand new workbench and told you something new was coming to All Things Frill...

Well, it's probably time I finally let you in on the secret.

All Things Frill handmade cold process soaps are coming!

We've been very busy behind the scenes testing, creating, tweaking and making batch after batch, and we're getting so close to being able to share them with you.

We're planning to officially launch our new soap range at the Makers Made Markets at the beginning of October.

Over the next few weeks I'll start showing you what we've been working on, including some of the soaps that will be there on launch day.

I can't wait for you to see them!
