The pattern was from a YouTube video by and it’s very cute, but I’d love a written pattern instead 😂

Oops I did it again……started another new blanket 😂
This time it’s a nice easy corner-2-corner, which is looking amazing in this Sierra 8ply yarn. I’m using a 5mm hook to try and give it some drape but it’s still pretty firm, hopefully a wash will relax the stitches a bit.

New on my hook is the Elvira’s Walk in the Country granny square by Elvira’s Cottage Crafts.
I’m using a 5.5 mm hook and Mandala yarn in chimera colour. I have a few balls in the same dye lot so I will see how far I can get, hopefully big enough for a decent throw!
Meanwhile I still have 3 other blankets to weave ends in and wash, plus a baby blanket or two to get going with 😂

I have quite a few balls of Caron Cakes that aren’t enough on their own for much so I decided to put them all together and make a 6 day star blanket with them. Turning out well so far, should be a great stash buster! Using a 6.5mm hook to try and avoid the dreaded curl!
Excuse the dog glitter, sheds like crazy!
