Frescher Furniture - unique designer lamps

A matched pair of SOMNAS lamps will provide the perfect amount of light for a large bedroom all on their own. We've been road testing a pair for a while now. Great for low light. Rotate a bit, turn up the brightness, and they make great reading lamps.
Simple, elegant design that reveals interesting forms as you move through the room.

Take a look around the LATEREL table lamp.

Conceived with a smaller footprint than the KNOTA Table Lamp but retaining the same character, the LATEREL is available singly as an accent lamp, or as a matched pair for bedside tables. As a bedside lamp, the dimming switch allows for low light that won’t disturb others. Increasing the brightness and rotating the lamp 90 degrees transforms it into the perfect reading lamp.

How bright are Frescher Furniture lamps? How well will they light your space?

I took this photo last night of a newly completed KNOTA Table Lamp in our living room. This room is close to pitch dark with the lamp off. The lamp is the only light source in this photo.

As you can see, the lamp is lighting a large area with a warm glow that is more than enough for an ambient light while watching the tv or sitting quietly with a glass of w**e and a friend.

As usual, the camera has gathered too much light from the lamp timber and the wall behind it, creating a flare effect that isn't true-to-life. In reality, the light on the lamp's form is much more like the other photos you will see on our site, and the wall has a warmer glow to it. Other than that, this photo accurately captures the light produced by the lamp.

Our feature wall is a very dark sea green so this lamp would create even more ambient light against a lighter coloured wall.

After being in rehearsal the last 2 weeks for an upcoming tour, it's good to get back into lamp crafting.

The new Jon Stevens shows are going to be amazing, with the boss in top vocal form and a killer band.

This lamp in progress is one of the new generation with brighter (but warm) LEDs. After months of road testing, we've found that we don't use the dimmer on our table lamps so this one will have a trusty on/off switch that allows you to put it on a timer if you have one. Perfect for smart homes too. Timers are great in entrance hallways for a warm welcome home, and your house can look lived in even if you are away.
