I’ve always loved the beautiful blue-green colour and natural markings of Apatite, so I was very excited to create these new earrings.

The first image shows my new Apatite & Sterling Silver Moroccan-style Chandeliers, featuring gorgeous 10mm Apatite gemstones with openwork sterling silver findings.

The second image is a beautiful piece of Apatite that I have in my own collection — and one of the reasons I’ve come to love this stone so much.

Apatite is traditionally associated with clarity, inspiration, motivation and communication, and is often considered a stone that encourages us to follow our direction and express ourselves.

As always with Ataka, I’ve chosen each gemstone for its natural beauty, so no two pairs will ever be exactly alike.

A beautiful stone of wisdom, truth and inner clarity, Lapis Lazuli encourages you to trust your intuition and express yourself with confidence.
Treasured for thousands of years, this incredible deep blue stone has traditionally been associated with wisdom, self-awareness and truth. Its rich blue colouring comes primarily from Lazurite, while the gorgeous little flecks of golden Pyrite scattered throughout give Lapis its distinctive sparkle. It is believed to encourage clear communication, strengthen intuition and bring a wonderful sense of calm, confidence and clarity.

Blue Lace Agate is a rare variety of banded chalcedony, formed as layers of silica slowly settled within volcanic rock cavities. Over time, nature created the delicate ribbons of soft blue and white that make this gemstone one of the most peaceful and beautiful agates in the world.
Traditionally associated with calm, gentle communication and emotional balance, Blue Lace Agate is believed to quiet an overactive mind, ease stress and encourage you to express yourself with confidence and kindness. It's a stone I find myself drawn to whenever life feels busy or overwhelming.
