Ashleigh gained national recognition in 2024 when Roland Views Homemade Foods won multiple awards at the Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph in Merbein, Victoria. The bakery secured first place in both the Registered Kitchen Vanilla Slice and Innovative Vanilla Slice categories, and also took home the prestigious People’s Choice Award, as voted by attendees . Known for his commitment to quality and traditional baking techniques, Ashleigh’s creations have been praised by customers as some of the best they’ve ever tasted . As a true partnership De’Arne is an integral part of Roland Views Homemade Foods, a home registered kitchen located in Claude Road, near Sheffield, Tasmania. While Ashleigh Lindsay is the face of the business, De’Arne’s contributions are essential to its daily operations and overall success. In the kitchen, De’Arne assists Ash during busy baking periods, ensuring that production runs smoothly. She meticulously handles the labelling, packing, and sealing of all freshly baked goods, maintaining the high-quality standards that customers have come to expect. This Sunday marks our final Wynyard Foreshore Market, and the response has honestly blown us away.

With such a huge number of Vanilla Slice pre-orders, we’ve now had to cap orders. Thank you all so much.

Pre-orders will be held until 10:30am, or until sold out earlier.

We are focusing on using remaining stock, so this Sunday we will only have:
• Our Original Vanilla Slices
• Pure butter shortbreads

This is our final market — we’d love to see you there one last time.
