đź’— INTRODUCING OUR NEW MISSION đź’—
Nurtured Beginnings, Gentle Goodbyes
The Rocky Cape Charity Ride is incredibly proud to announce our 2027 fundraising mission — supporting the Maternity Ward at the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH).
This year, our mission will focus on supporting families through some of life’s most precious beginnings, while also providing compassion, dignity and privacy through some of life’s most heartbreaking goodbyes.
🌸 Nurtured Beginnings
We will be raising funds to support and enhance the Maternity Ward, helping provide improved facilities, equipment and spaces for our beautiful babies, mothers and families across the North West Coast.
🕊️ Gentle Goodbyes
We will also be working towards creating a private, comfortable and homely space within the hospital for families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss — giving families precious privacy and time together while remaining close to the medical care and support they need.
While some aspects of our plans are still being worked through and are yet to be formally confirmed with Tasmanian Health Service (THS), one thing is certain — our mission is Nurtured Beginnings, Gentle Goodbyes, and that will remain.
The finer details may evolve as we work alongside the hospital and its incredible staff, but our purpose will not: to make a meaningful and lasting difference for babies and families on the North West Coast — in both their happiest moments and their hardest.
After raising more than $140,000 for the NWRH Paediatric Ward, our mission continues.
One year. One big difference.
We are incredibly proud to continue supporting the babies, children and families of Tasmania’s North West Coast.
This is more than our next fundraiser.
This is Nurtured Beginnings, Gentle Goodbyes. 💗🕊️
And we cannot wait to show you what our incredible community can achieve together in 2027.
