Next stop Busselton. Dropped by ‘Busso’ on our way home today to visit a few more artists at Shelter Busselton - it been years since we visited Busselton and wow she has grown. The foreshore is amazing with great wheelchair friendly pavements leading to the Jetty. We said hello to our new friends at where we were greeted by the gorgeous staff there. They were super friendly. So lovely to meet them as they’ve been selling our goods for quite a few years. Then we visited the incredible talent of Georgia Zoric (I’ve been stalking her work for a while) each piece tells a beautiful story in my mind. Her talent is spell bounding. Andy was spell bound by 🐠Jaky Pinnock 🪸 work. So much detail in her large paintings, you could spend all day looking at them and finding something new each time. We particularly loved our neck of the woods with her Fremantle painting . Including The Local Hotel South Freo - lastly the whimsical work of Charlotte DeLatte her works are created with found inanimate metal objects that she cleverly brings to life. We could have spent another week exploring the creations of Margaret River Region Open Studios but sadly it’s back to work for us. Get out there if you can. It’s a great event that gets better and better every year. b
