Don’t forget to season your claypot before use !
Clay is dry and will absorb first thing you cook to seal pores.
To season it - just cook porridge or Sth plain and starchy for 30 mins.

Each factory has a technique or treatment for their carbon steel pans and woks.

The traditional ones from China require a bit more work because we need to pre-season them first ( burning them until they completely change colour before use)

Our woks and pans from Japan don’t require pre-seasoning them. The heavy lifting has been done in the factory, but we still need to follow simple steps (5 min max) to clean product and have it ready to use.

Hope this helps! Carbon Steel products are awesome to use as they are non toxic and last very long as long as you look after them.

Carbon Steel pans are non-toxic and become naturally non-stick the more you use it.
Don’t forget WDO ( wash, dry, oil ) after using your pan, and you will notice the difference.
