I’ve been a bit quiet on the social media front lately but here is a snippet of what I’ve been up to. Today the concrete floor gets a sealer. Not long now until the decorating begins. I’ll post some before photos of what I started with this evening.

St Arnaud Country Market is on today with plenty of wonderful stalls behind the Town Hall. Why not pop in and visit us at Echidna Gallery after browsing our local artists at the market. We have something for everyone and new stock weekly. Beautiful coffee also being served at La Cochon Rose next door.

I had always wanted to make a quilt. Most people would learn to quilt using strips of coordinating fabric and sewing them together. BUT, I’m not most people 😜. I am self taught (YouTube and Pinterest) and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Is it perfect….no. But the top is made from 100% reclaimed doilies, lace, fabric, buttons and thread. I’m guessing that I would have spent 300+ hours creating the finished product and it now sits proudly on my bed as a reminder of days gone by and that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it

While Trish is spending the day with her family, she has left me responsible for running our shop. It’s so rewarding creating vignettes with all these beautiful things at my disposal.
