Still looking for a Mother’s Day gift?

We’ve just listed lots of new dates for many of our favourite workshops, from candle making and soap making to embroidery, printing, sewing and more.

If your mum loves making, learning or simply taking a little time for herself, a workshop experience is such a lovely way to celebrate her. A few creative hours in our beautiful warehouse space, making something with her own hands and spending time with other lovely people.

And if you’re not quite sure which class she’d love most (or you’ve left things very last minute 😅), our gift cards are always a great option and can be used on any future class.

We’re bringing back our Monthly Makers Morning — starting next Saturday.

A few hours set aside to work on your own project, in a space that’s calm, creative and yours for the morning.

Bring whatever you’re working on — something half-finished, something new, or something you’ve been meaning to get back to.

We’ll have the tea station on and a morning tea ready.

If you’ve been before, you’ll know how lovely it feels to sit and make here.

We spent two lovely, creative days at this week making Plaster Art. This might have been one of our best workshops yet, it’s such an easy, accessible craft and just a little bit addictive. Everyone had a great time and went home with pieces they were genuinely proud to say were “Made by Me”.

Yesterday’s group of gorgeous creators showing off their beautiful Crafty Candles - they made their own marbled candle container with a lid from acrylic resin as well as the candle to go inside!

Today’s crew at our Kids Jewellery Making Workshop! This was a very creative bunch, I would be happy if I made pieces as good as theirs! Only downside -
Creative kids = Messy Kids especially when working with small parts, I think I’ll be finding beads on the floor for weeks / months to come!

Today is Sugar’s first birthday - she has grown into a beautiful puppa who loves a squeaky toy, chasing a ball & rolling in any mud puddle she can find! She likes staying up late and more importantly sleeping in, she weirdly hates her harness or any harness even though she knows it means we are going out. She definitely keeps me on my toes and has very little respect for my things but I love her so much.

please share any pics of her siblings if any are shared with you - we’d love to see them all a year down the track.

Just a few of the happy faces from our last school holiday workshops 🤍

Kids genuinely love coming along — getting stuck into their projects, trying something new and feeling proud of what they’ve made.

We keep things thoughtful… quality materials, fun projects and skills they can build on.

School holidays are just around the corner — we’d love to have you join us 🤍

School holiday workshops are now open for bookings (finally… 😅)

This time we’ve added something new that I’m really excited about —
we now have workshops for both 8–12 year olds and 12–15 year olds.

The older kids classes have been a long time coming… designed especially for those who’ve been coming to Made By Me Workshop for years and are ready for something a little more challenging (and a room full of kids their own age).

We’ve also added a few new workshops into the mix — including some I think are going to be favourites.

If you have a child in that in-between stage (hello Year 6), they’re very welcome to join either group — or a mix of both.

Bookings are already starting to come through and the holidays are only a couple of weeks away, so if you’ve been meaning to organise something, now is a good time.

Made By Me has always been shaped by women, the women who walk through the door ready to try something new, the ones who come back again and again, the guest artists who generously share their skills, the friends who step in to help when things get busy, and the women in my own family who inspire me every day.

From my sisters and nieces to the many women who gather around our tables each week, this workshop has quietly become a place where creativity brings people together. Friendships often begin over yarn, stitching, a little gossip and a cuppa tea.

It’s something I never take for granted.

To every woman who has spent time creating with us, whether you came once or have become part of the furniture, thank you for being part of this community. You are the heart of it.
