We are taking a short break from the shop this week!
I'll be away in Melb and with the weather here not looking great and the road works up the street.
Time for a week to recharge and we'll be back open next Wednesday 10th June.

If you need to pick up any items or are interested in anything we are a short message away and pick up can be arranged. ;)

✨️✨️ We often get referred to as a second hand shop, thats alright but, we are not. Yes we sell preloved items but we are a carefully curated, vintage, retro restored furniture shop.

The difference:

Second-hand stores sell uncurated, pre-owned items at lower prices. In contrast, retro and vintage shops are highly curated specialty boutiques that sell either original items from a specific past era (vintage) or modern reproductions inspired by those eras, typically commanding a premium price.

We take pride in the way we curate our items in particular and have had many lovely comments about how the shop presents itself we hand pick all items in the shop and are picky with what we present, restore and resell. We research all items and have researched vintage, antique, such as furniture makers/designs, woods, Australian pottery, French, Japanese, German pottery, history and providence of makers and certain collections. I call it our other full time job we have been doing for over 10 years. So yes we do know what we are talking about. ;)

There may be a few things we don't know everything about but we do our best to research so every peice we sell we can continue its story or atleast its makers/manufacturers history.
