After much thought, I have decided to close my doors.

Having lost many of my suppliers, and many of the opposing options following suit, running The Glass Bloke is no longer a sustainable option for me.

I dont plan to permanently close. I have high hopes to reopen at some point in the future, but I cannot put a date to doing so at this point. Thankyou to those who have supported me through my endeavours, its been greatly appreciated.

I will be finishing all open jobs over the coming weeks. Any questions, you are more than welcome to contact me, however bare in mind I will be transitioning between my own business and other employment.

After avoiding the "spicy cough" for all this time, it's my turn. I have come down with covid in the early hours of this morning.

I will be in isolation for the next 7 days. For obvious reasons, my business line and Facebook will not be monitored closely for this period.

There is going to be some up & coming changes to my services, much to my own disappointment.

Recently, several of my suppliers cut back their clientele on a basis of product purchase quantity. In turn, this has left myself and multiple other small businesses unable to purchase their product, as small businesses are unable to compete with the quantity of much bigger corporate based companies.

As of July 1st this cuts out my ability to supply security screens, showers, new windows and doors. However, I would like to make it abundantly clear- I AM NOT SHUTTING DOWN. I will still be available for broken windows and small repairs to screens, windows, doors and showers.

I do plan to find new suppliers to replace those I have lost. I will be sourcing suppliers who supply a high quality product that adheres to the standard of service I wish to upkeep, and will continue to keep you updated on this.

Should you have an existing job, yours will go ahead as planned, any issue you will be contacted directly.
