We have a wide variety of gifts, art and timber on display and for sale here in the Huon Pine Shop and Gallery.
You might think it’s a regular shop, where you look with your eyes, but it is more than that… we love how tactile and hands-on you can be in here!

Meet the Maker! 🖌️

Artist Kristina Plummer has several beautiful paintings in our shop!

Kristina was born and raised in Queenstown, now living in Devonport with a much loved holiday home in Strahan. She completed a diploma in Art and Design in 1994 but family and work commitments took over and she did not paint again for 20 years, until reconnecting with her art and her original teacher in 2020.

She now paints everyday and still attends classes, and for her painting is about being in that moment of creativity 💌

Meet the Maker Monday! 🥳

We’re excited this week to introduce you to Kevin Rayner. Kevin was born in Queenstown, where three generations of the Rayner family had been leaders in the harvesting and milling of Huon Pine.

Kevin’s speciality are his beautiful bowls. Take a couple minutes to listen to him explain why they look the way they do.

Kaylee’s favourite item in the shop this week are the Huon Pine shaving bags! They smell great and have some fantastic uses/benefits.

Very easy to use.

Step 1:
Transfer shavings into a nice display bowl or individual satchets. You can also just open this bag and leave them in there.

Step 2:
Put in your wardrobe, drawers, car, shoes, gym bag, storage areas, bathroom, kitchen... you get the idea!

Step 3:
That’s it, enjoy!
