We’re Linden & Co Interiors — an interior design and styling studio founded by Jess, with over 15 years of experience creating beautiful, considered spaces.

After many years working in Melbourne’s design industry, Jess relocated to Queensland, bringing her experience and passion for interiors to the Sunshine Coast.

Over the years we’ve helped homeowners, builders and businesses bring their ideas to life — from sourcing art or colour consultations to complete interior design and styling projects.

With a paint fandeck in hand, we take the guesswork out of design and help you feel confident about the decisions that shape your space.

Taking the overwhelm out of renovating. Too many samples. Too many decisions.

When I first met Shirley, she had LOTS of samples - paint colours, stone, tiles, flooring and joinery finishes - feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure which direction to take.

Sometimes you just need a designer to step in and help you make sense of it all. That’s exactly what we did.

Together, we narrowed down the selections and created a cohesive scheme that flowed from the outside in. We worked through the exterior and interior paint colours, flooring, stone, joinery finishes, tiles and lighting.

For the fireplace, we introduced a stone with a little more detail. Because the kitchen stone was neutral, this added interest and texture while still keeping the spaces connected.

By the end of our consultation, Shirley had a clear direction and felt confident moving forward with her trades.

Her words to me were: “You are my angel.” I could genuinely see the stress lift from her. She was happier, more confident and excited about her renovation again.
And honestly, this is one of my favourite parts of what I do. Renovating your home should feel exciting, not overwhelming.

Not everything needs to be expensive. But sometimes, quality matters.

I have two vases here — one from Kmart and one from one of my trade suppliers.

At first glance, they may seem similar, but there is a noticeable difference in the quality, weight, finish and overall feel.

And this is where having an experienced eye can really help.

It’s not about choosing the most expensive option every time. It’s about understanding where quality will make a difference and where you can be more relaxed about your choices depending on your budget.

This Kmart vase might be perfect for a beach house or a more casual space.

For your main home, you might decide to wait for that beautiful piece you really love — something better quality, a beautiful finish, longevity or handmade.

And sometimes, rather than spending more on every little accessory, I’d suggest investing that money in something that will have a much greater impact on your space — beautiful flower arrangement, a rug, artwork, furniture or lighting.

That’s the difference between simply filling a room and curating an interior.

It’s about choosing the right pieces, knowing when to invest and creating a home that feels considered, personal and beautifully finished.
