A typical Saturday morning at my local market (Kings Cross Market) only three mins from home. Four bunches of flowers (2 x hydrangeas, 1 dahlias and 1 zinnias) for only $55 ☺️. Je@to drop off the flowers and back for a haul of organic veg and some gurnard fillets. The bacon and egg sarnie stall drives the the dog crazy 🤪. Loads of stalls selling breads, cakes, fruit, veg and lots of other yummy things. It’s a super place to bump into locals and have a catch-up chat. What’s not to love?

I’m not a fan of mirrored wardrobes but they seem to be in most rentals here. At least this part of the wardrobe reflects the little table I found on the pavement outside my apartment building. The large oil is by my friend English who lives in NSW and the little old watercolour which I recently had reframed with a mount colour to suit it better, is an inherited piece of an American covered bridge. A bunch of dahlias and a bunch of zinnias (swipe right) for a total of $25 (£12.50) at my local market (Kings Cross Market). Such incredible value and the usually last ten days.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I found this charming little old table on the pavement next to my apartment building. It would have been rude not to take it 😛. It has a coat of something in it (not sure what) so I am toying with painting it with ‘Athenian Black’ or I may just give it a coat of Annie’s black wax. Thoughts?
