Completing the finishing touches of a stunning home cinema, with audio calibration for one of our valued clients.

The cinematic experience that this room delivers is first class. Although not apparent in the attached images due to ambient lighting, but the Sony VPL-XW5000ES provides a rich colour palette, perfect brightness levels, with inky blacks that would rival the very best flat screen TV's. Simply stunning!

As this client wanted to maximise the available space within the room, installing front LCR speakers within the wall cavity was not an option. So we worked closely with the client to design and implement custom joinery that would perfectly house the specified equipment.

Over the coming weeks, we are renewing our lineup with a focus on bringing a truly unique experience to Sydney Hi-Fi enthusiasts.

On highlight here is the Pathos Logos MKII integrated amplifier. This piece is simply breathtaking, and is currently making the already exceptional Sonus faber Lumina V Amator sound worthy of double the price tag!

The Logos is a hybrid amplifier delivering 110 W per channel into 8 ohms and 220 W into 4 ohms. Features ECC88 preamp valves, and a class A/B MOSFET power amplifier stage.

The superlative Italian audio brand, Gold Note is now available at Space Hi-Fi.

These would have to be some of the finest components available in the world. For those that desire a perfectly matched system, not only is the synergy undeniable, but the design aesthetic is consistent across the range.

Did you know that many modern sources (network streamers, CD players etc.) can connect directly to a power amplifier?

How? Simply check if the source offers variable output to enable volume control. If yes, then this can connect directly to a power amplifier, with volume controlled through the source! This bypasses the need for a preamplifier. Clean, direct, minimal signal path.

You may just find that the end result is magical. Such as in this case, with a Primare SC15 Prisma MK2 streamer, T+A A 200 stereo power amplifier, connected to Sonus faber Sonetto V speakers. Such sweet, elegant, mesmerising musicality.

However, if you require the ability to switch between multiple source devices, or simply prefer the "colour" that a preamplifier may inject into the system, retaining this additional component may be preferable.
